Hawaii

     Hawaii was the last state to become part of the United States. It is the 50th state. Hawaii is made up of eight large islands and many small islands. The islands are mountains that were made long ago under the ocean. Some mountains in Hawaii still shoot out steam and melted rock. Sugar cane and pineapples grow in Hawaii. People in Hawaii enjoy warm weather and colorful flowers.
